Skaneateles Lakefront at Woodland Cottage

It was an absolute 10! The host was very helpful. The property was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The lake view was incredible.

The house was perfect for us -- just the right size for two people with great views of the lake. The house set up was great --- great living room, kitchen, etc. A few comments:1) the dock should have a ladder so that one can easily get into the lake. The lake is too shallow to dive into from the end of the dock and the only way to get into the water is to walk in over a lot of sharp stones. 2)If someone is looking for a short drive into town to get a newspaper, latte, shop, etc., the house is a little bit of a hike from the village. 3) The TV in the house should have access to local channels. Neither my wife nor I remember our logins/passwords to our various streaming services. We ended up reading at night but it would have been nice to have access to a local Syracuse channel so that we can follow what is going on in the world.

Wonderful lake front cottage. Close to town, but far enough away to feel the peacefulness of the lake. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful visit for a Fall weekend. Excellent communication prior to check in. Skaneateles is a great town - make sure to visit the downtown on your stay.
