Cove House-East Side Skaneateles Lake

We wanted a quiet house right on the lake so this house was perfect for us. Everything was clean, modern, well-appointed with very little noise from the neighbors. It's about a 10 minute drive into the town of Skaneateles. We loved swimming in the lake (already pretty cold in September but this lake's water is never that warm) and sitting on the deck overlooking the dock. Just an FYI, although there are spices and coffee filters, there is no coffee/sugar/etc or shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Communication with the owner was excellent. Will definitely try to stay here again on a future trip to the lake!

We've rented a number of cottages on Skaneateles Lake and this is one of the nicest. The cottage is new and has all the amenities you need. It was unusually warm for early June but the air conditioning and fans made it pleasant. There is easy access from the street to a large parking area with no steps to the cottage. There are just a few steps from the lawn to the dock with a great covered deck and an upper deck. Easy accessibility is a premium on Skaneateles and this cottage was perfect. Its spacious, plenty of room for dining inside and out. A dishwasher for easy cleanup and plenty of counterspace and storage. The 4 bedrooms are spacious and the two full bathrooms made for a comfortable family visit. The proximity to downtown Skaneateles is also a plus.

Everything stood out! The host was amazing; called, answered all our questions, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The new house was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The lake view was stunning, and the quiet, private road made it so peaceful. Truly an awesome place; we can’t recommend it enough!
